Revolution Mill Greensboro Wedding: Lauren & Paul
Lauren and Paul’s “meet cute” story, all starting with a Somersault beer, is straight out of a movie and we are so honored they chose Rev Mill Events to start their next chapter of happily ever after. Incorporating sustainable decor, bright color palettes, and the hopes for perfect weather conditions, this stunning couple’s wedding day stole our hearts!
The Ceremony
With sustainability in mind, Lauren and Paul strayed from the traditional floral aisle & arbor arrangement. As an alternative they lined the aisle with potted plants that were then repurposed for the reception table decor, and later gifted to guests at the end of the evening.
Color was on full display with the bridal party! They shined with multi-jewel toned bridesmaid dresses and bouquets featuring elegantly bold colors! September 17th was the perfect North Carolina day with the warm sunshine pouring over the couple as they came together in The Courtyard surrounded by friends and family in the sweetest unplugged ceremony. It truly was the perfect recipe for saying I do!
The Reception
Excitement filled the air as the newlyweds entered their reception full of colorful lighting and great music, kicking things off with a dance!
The couple chose specialty beers as featured drinks for their guests. One beer represented the bride, one the groom and one the couple. The couple's choice beer, Somersault by Greensboro’s own South End Brewing, was the beer that started it all for Lauren and Paul and of course had to make an appearance! Once the music began, everyone hit the dance floor and danced the night away! The evening ended with a magical sparkler send off in The Courtyard at The Colonnade leading the couple to their getaway vintage Jaguar.
