Revolution Mill Greensboro Wedding: Jordan + Jordan
This fun-loving couple, Jordan and Jordan, were married in May of 2021 on a beautiful, clear Spring day at The Colonnade in Greensboro NC. They said “I do” in the outdoor garden courtyard and celebrated afterwards with an indoor reception surrounded by their friends and family.
The Venue
What drew you to The Colonnade? Why did you book us as your venue?
“The Colonnade is a gorgeous venue on its own. While additional decorations serve to make it your own, elaborate decor did not feel necessary for a beautiful space. In addition, it has space for an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, which was our preference. The flow from ceremony to cocktail hour allowed our guests to get out of the heat and start the party while we were allowed private time to take all the wedding/family photos we wanted against the backdrop of the beautiful courtyard.”
What was your favorite thing about working with Revolution Mill Events?
“We loved everyone that we worked with at the venue and are so thankful for their help! Since COVID delayed our wedding a year we ended up booking 3 years before our actual date. Jaime answered countless questions and gave prompt responses to our multiple changes throughout the process. The day of event manager worked side by side with our coordinator to make sure everything ran smoothly. We knew we were in great hands which allowed us to spend our day celebrating without worry!”
The Reception & Vendors
The couple’s design choices and aesthetic was chosen to enhance The Colonnade’s distinct elegant industrial style. The blush, gold, neutral colors of creams and whites, with a sprinkle of greenery helped to highlight their favorite features.
